This adapter converts a 1.8" drive (such as SSD) to a 2.5" drive form factor (also known as a SATA to micro-SATA adapter). This is the perfect solution if you want to attach a 1.8" SATA SSD into a laptop's 2.5" hard drive bay. This adapter/caddy has an internal micro-SATA connector for the 1.8" device and a standard external SATA connector. It has the same dimensions as a standard 2.5" hard drive with a 9.5mm height. This adapter has built-in support for both 3.3v and 5.0v.
